MATH RESOURCES

click, download,use!

Let's face it - the Mathematics curriculum covers so many different strands and expectations. We all know that reinventing the wheel doesn't always work and having access to different resources is helpful. Below you'll find resources created by me that you can use in your Mathematics classes. If you have any questions on how to use or implement them, or if the link doesn't work, simply send me a DM on my Instagram @thecheerteacher.

ENJOY!

SPIRAL MATH WEEKLY SERIES

These slides can be used as you see fit - I like to use them weekly, but it is your choice!  Each presentation has 10 questions that can be answered directly in each slide. They are easier and encapsulate a variety of strands. These are also targeted towards Grade 6 but can easily be used for other grades as well.

SPIRAL MATH INDEPENDENT TASK

These spiral math packs are created on Google Docs and can be done directly on the document or can be viewed and done in student notebooks. I liked to use these half way through the year and again at the end of the year. Not all strands are seen here simply because the document caters to what I do by certain points of the year. Feel free to change around!

VACATION GETAWAY - SPIRAL ACTIVITY

This activity is one of my all time favourites to do near the end of the year. Whether it's for EQAO prep, or something to spiral their learning at the end of the year, it's a fun and engaging activity for students. In this task, they get to plan a dream getaway and do things like find ticket prices, look at distances travelled, saving and budgeting, and more!

ROUNDING AND SKIP COUNTING - FRENCH

IMG_1270.HEIC

These two resources can be used as independant work, games in class, homework, or for station work! These resources are targeted towards primary grades, specifically Grade 3. The first resource is a worksheet for rounding to tens and hundreds in French in a way that breaks it down. The second resource is great for stations - I printed, laminated and cut these. Be sure to check out my highlights on Instagram for more instructions.
